UNITED NATIONS PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT + RECEPTION

In November, a high-profile exhibition at the UN Headquarters in New York will showcase the photographs and reflections of these children and youth. This exhibition highlights the transformative power of photography, giving young people a platform to share their lived experiences of conflict and their vision for a peaceful future. Through a mix of photographs and personal stories, the exhibit offers a raw, unfiltered look into their emotional landscapes, illustrating the challenges, aspirations, and hopes that shape their lives.

In 2024, 100cameras, in collaboration with UNIDIR, UNICEF, War Child, and local partners, launched a groundbreaking participatory initiative across Nigeria, Iraq, and Colombia, aimed at transforming how the global community engages with and supports youth affected by conflict.

Through this initiative, we provided young people with a multi-media training program, equipping them with photography and research skills, creating a space to process their experiences, build their networks, and ultimately elevate their voices in policymaking discussions that will impact both them and their communities.
