They share about the organization, Ek Tara, and their important and wholistic work along with the struggles and the pain points of gender disparity. Learn with us from their expertise about how organizations can do more to support individuals and communities.

We always believe in creating these different opportunities for our children. That they can go and interact with different people, and along the way, also pick up some skills. But just the idea of having girls like Nahid having access to people like you is something otherwise they wouldn’t.

And at Ek Tara, we constantly strive to give them access to these kinds of exposures and opportunities where they have a wider perspective. They have a more deeper understanding of what life would be apart from what they’ve been conditioned to believe. That this is what life is or should be.
— Manjusmita Bagchi, Associate Director, Ek Tara
