a note about the LEGAL stuff
100cameras is a registered 501c3 organization with a reputable mission that adheres to our commitment with the United States government, our supporters, our donors, and the communities, partner organizations, and students we serve. We recognize that your organization navigates the same commitments.
With this all taken to heart, we recognize the necessity to enter into legal agreements to best protect our organization, the program educator and volunteers, you as the partner organization, and ultimately the youth and communities we are all passionate about working alongside.
Upon entering into a partner organization relationship, we are hereby sharing with you our mission, professional and personal trust, reputation, and our intellectual properties. We are excited at the opportunity to do so! In return, we acknowledge you as an organization and/or program educator are doing the same with 100cameras, and we will honor the same trust and commitments to you throughout our partnership. The agreement we will share is meant to provide clarity and legal protection to all parties involved.
100cameras will provide all formal agreements upon the application’s acceptance that outline the program and our commitment to — together — best uplift the students’ stories and perspectives.
A NOTE ON STUDENT PHOTO SALES
Upon program completion, student photos are uplifted and sold. 100% of the proceeds from student photo sales fund much-needed supplies, and the organizations in each community determine which medical, educational, or basic needs they need funded the most. (After production, 100% of the proceeds from the student photos sold online equates to a minimum of 90% of each sale.)
This enables change to become full circle by enabling students to not only process their stories and express themselves, but to see the impact of their contribution on the community.
100cameras shares and sells a selection of students' images as an important part of our full circle model where youth see the impact of their contributions.
The full proceeds from these sales go back to each Partner Organization! (Only the cost to print the actual image is deducted from each sale.)
100cameras has learned over the years that the total amount of funds raised varies a lot, and while certain factors can support the amount of funds raised through photo sales, no amount is guaranteed. This can mean that it is possible that a program raises less than one hundred USD.
While not required in any way, we invite all Partner Organizations to collaborate with us in raising awareness about the program and the student perspectives.
The individual student experience is the highest impact priority, and we do not base program application acceptances based on a prediction of photo sales.
