"I am passionate about helping people find their voice. That is the greatest gift I could ever give someone. The realization of one's full potential."

Tells us about yourself! Where are you from? What do you do and why do you do it?
I am from Athens, Georgia. I currently live in California, and am finishing my bachelor's degree in applied creative arts. I do a variety of things and have a diverse set of interests! I have a background in Theater and acting. Currently, I have been doing photography and running a production company with my brother (www.butterflyhousefilms.com).

What was it that drew you to 100cameras?
100cameras highlights marginalized groups by empowering them with the tools to create and become artists. I love how they are empowering a new generation of artists and giving them a voice.

How has the power of storytelling impacted your life?
Wow, tough question! Storytelling has made me realize the importance of everyone's voice. Everyone has a different perspective on the world, and their own story waiting to be told. Stories give us hope, and unify rather than pull apart.

Tell us one fun fact about you... go!
One fact!? I can do some killer magic tricks. It is kind of a secret hobby...

What advice would you give to other artists and creatives that are hoping to live out their passions and change the world?
Advice? Let your art / creation carry you. The world has a lot of noise, and can pull you in a lot of directions; however, you must let your creation take you further.

What inspires you and your work?
What inspires me? The mundane: the laughter of a child, the dinner with close friends, the noise of the wind in the trees, etc. I've learned that I am most inspired when I am centered and fully present to the world around me.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about helping people find their voice. That is the greatest gift I could ever give someone. The realization of one's full potential.

What does being on the Board of Creatives mean to you?
I think creativity, and change cannot be cultivated alone. It is crucial to gather together with artists.

Tell us one tip of your trade.
Never stop learning. Read books, watch films, have dinner with those that are smarter than you. And never stop changing perspective. This will greatly excel your making-process.
