ENVISIONING A WORLD WHERE KIDS ARE EMPOWERED TO SHARE THEIR STORIES AND CREATE IMPACT
100cameras is a non-profit organization that works with kids around the world who have had traumatic experiences. We teach them how to tell their stories through photography in a way that impacts how they view themselves, and their role in the community. We then give them a platform to sell their photographs, and 100% of the proceeds provides funding for the most pressing needs in their communities, enabling them to see the impact of their contribution.
Behind-the-scenes in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Snapshot Project Leader, Scott Bennett. This project in collaboration with JR’s nonprofit, CoFondation, is a month-long course on photography and storytelling that gives the youth involved a chance to give back to their own community through creative expression.
